Curcumin is an active ingredient of turmeric (Curcuma longa), which has been widely used for more than 2,500 years in Asian countries for the medical treatment of various diseases. During this long journey, turmeric has become a cornerstone in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine.
Academic research has shown that curcumin is important in multiple aspects related to human health. Therefore, several clinical studies have been initiated to evaluate the effectiveness of curcumin in various human diseases, some of which have already shown promising results.
In line with recent findings, it is now believed that curcumin may add value in the following areas:

Indeed, the potential added value of curcumin to human health is evidenced by the rapidly growing interest in academic research. To maximize the absorption of Curcumin, we have developed a Curcumin formula based on the proliposomal technology LongLifeLipoTech™.
An important way to maximize the bioavailability of natural compounds are phospholipid-based formulations. These are commercially available and are known as liposomal formulations. They exist in liquid emulsions or solid formulations that promote the formation of liposomal structures (bubble-like structures surrounded by a lipid layer) that can encapsulate the active ingredients, such as curcumin compounds. This phospholipid layer is similar to the cell walls in our bodies. As a result, liposomes are well absorbed by the body and are absorbed in larger quantities, reaching the bloodstream.
Although liposomal formulas are an excellent way to deliver larger amounts of supplements and medications into the bloodstream, converting them into liquid products comes with several disadvantages for users. Liposomal products are liquid, heavy and difficult to carry around. They often have an unpleasant taste. Improving the taste may involve various undesirable additives. In addition, they usually have a short shelf life, even shorter after the bottle is opened. In addition, liquid liposomal products must be stored at a low temperature.
Unlike liquid liposomal supplements, liposomal-promoting formulations like dry powder in capsules have no taste, are easy to carry and can be stored at room temperature for a long time. As a result, the quality is even better because the product is more stable.
In addition, phospholipids can be negatively or positively charged, leading to lower absorption and circulation time in the bloodstream compared to neutrally charged liposomes. To address this and further maximize absorption, our Pro Liposomal formula contains LongLifeLipoTech™.
