Deficient DPP-IV enzyme function results in exorphin accumulation. DPP-IV Gluten Tri-Phase® results in an accelerated breakdown of exorphins. This may cause withdrawal symptoms and/or a change in intestinal flora. Exorphins are opiates from food and microorganisms that can cause habituation. The withdrawal symptoms vary from person to person. If these withdrawal symptoms persist for more than three days, we recommend not taking DPP-IV enzyme for at least one week. After that, you can take one capsule again. If the withdrawal symptoms occur again, we advise you to stop using this product. Psychological withdrawal symptoms: increased sensitivity to stimuli and stress, fog in the head, irritability, fatigue, restlessness, gloomy feeling and increased craving for sugars |
