Long Pepper (also called Piper Longum or Pippali) is a plant of South Asian origin. The fruit is cultivated as a spice and herb in dishes. It is one of the main ingredients in Ayurvedic medicine, where it is used for a wide range of health problems.
Over the past few decades, scientists have discovered Piperlongumin (also called Piplartin) as one of the most important and relevant alkaloid constituents in the fruit of the long pepper. It is responsible for many of the positive properties of the long pepper.

Directions
