Background information
Wild Yam
An edible root tuber from the genus Dioscorea. Wild Yam grows in the United States, Latin America and Asia. This plant is considered the source of eternal youth.
Non-GMO Soy Extract (pure isoflavones)
Is a highly concentrated non-GMO and also standardized soy extract processed in the capsules of this product.
Maca
Is a tuberous plant, it is also called Peruvian ginseng. It is an herbaceous biennial plant native to the Andes Mountains in Peru, which grows there in harsh conditions above 4000 meters. Maca contains large amounts of minerals, vitamin B, enzymes, magnesium, phytosterols, lignans and essential amino acids. Peruvian maca roots grow in three basic colors. These colors are yellow, red and black.
Angelica root (Angelica root)
The plants are found in the temperate and subpolar regions of the northern hemisphere. The species usually grow 1-2 m tall. The leaves are double pinnate and the flowers white or white-green. From traditional natural lifestyles, this root is associated with grounding.
Lemon Balm Extract – Lemon Balm
The name lemon balm comes from the Ancient Greek word Melissa, meaning “honey bee. This name is very appropriate because lemon balm attracts many bees. The plant is known as an important producer of nectar, the raw material of honey. Lemon balm was known to different peoples 2,000 years ago. Probably the Arabs brought the plant to Europe via Spain. Initially, only monasteries engaged in cultivation.
Sage extract – Salvia divinorum
The plant occurs wild in the Mazatec Mountains in Oaxaca, Mexico, where it grows in shady and moist places. It is not clear whether S. divinorum is a cultigen or a hybrid. The plant was traditionally used by the Mazatec medicine man. Salvia comes from Latin and means cure. The fact that this name was given to a plant reflects the broad therapeutic value attributed to the plant at the time. For thousands of years, Salvia species have been used by peoples on different continents for various ailments.
Siberian gingseng
Belongs to the adaptogenic plants. This plant is found throughout almost all of Asia and has a rich history of use as a vitalizing herb in the traditional natural remedies of those regions at that time.
Hop
Is a plant in the hemp family (Cannabaceae), which occurs in the wild in the Netherlands and Belgium, and used to be widely cultivated here. The name of the genus and species were published by Linnaeus in Species plantarum in 1753.
Agnus Castus
Also called Monk’s pepper and is native to countries around the Mediterranean Sea. Monk’s pepper (berry) is an important female herb and is already described in writings of the Greek physician Hippocrates, the founder of Western medicine. The dried berries contain various bioactive compounds including iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, diterpenes, lignans and essential oil.
